REGISTRATION & WAITLISTS: THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE

COURSE DESCRIPTION & PREREQUISITES

This is a hands on training for users who have reviewed the waitlisting documentation available on the Registrar website and still have questions about how to help students manage their registration waitlist.  This session will show how students navigate registration for waitlist, the communication they receive when a course becomes available to them, and what happens to a student when they do not respond during the 24 hour period.  While this session will show some elements of how waitlists are established for courses, the focus on this training is on providing useful information to help students navigate waitlisting during registration.

SECTION SCHEDULING: COURSE SCHEDULING BANNER ACCESS

COURSE DESCRIPTION & PREREQUISITES

This is a high level overview of the Registrar’s webpage highlighting resources needed to complete and update schedules. This training is specifically for new Scheduling Coordinator in order for them to get familiar with locating resources on the Registrar’s page and the UCRN process. SECTION SCHEDULING: BANNER SECTION UPDATING TRAINING - NEW SCHEDULING COORDINATORS

These workshops are available during the course scheduling period for all Scheduling Coordinators to meet in a computer lab to work on their schedules. Members of the Registrar’s office will be on-site to assist with schedule processing and questions. Bring a copy of your schedules. No RSVP is required on these days.
