Banner is an application used to manage administrative information ranging from class registration, scheduling, and student grades to financial aid and billing and payment information. There are two components of the Banner system at Augusta University:
Employees must complete a System Access Request Form and submit it to banneraccess@augusta.edu to obtain access.
How often do I have to log into Banner?
Due to audit requirements only active users are permitted access to University databases. Therefore, you are required to log in at least monthly to maintain your system access. Each time your account is locked, a new Banner Security Request form is required to be submitted. After two locks due to inactive use, your supervisor will be notified of excessive inactivity. After three locks, your Banner access will be reviewed by the committee to determine the best course of action for future needs and this could result in final termination of access.
I am a Banner Webapp user. Do I still need to log into Banner?
Banner Webapp users are also required to log in at least monthly to maintain your system access.

What do I do if I am locked out of Banner?
Users locked our of Banner should email Banner Access.
How often will my Banner password expire?
Banner User Account passwords will expire every 90 days.
How do I change my password when prompted?
Use the Augusta University Password Self Service Portal change your password.
How long do I have to change my password?
Once you have been notified to change your password, you will have 10 grace logins.
Why do I have to log into Banner 8 twice?
Due to upgrades related to Banner 9, you will be prompted to submit your username and password twice when logging into Banner 8. Please direct any questions to 706-721-4000.
