ACADEMIC ADVISEMENT

Academic Advisement advisors will help you determine which path is right for you and clarify your options.  Although you have the primary responsibility for developing and implementing your educational plans, their advisors will assist you in building toward your goals. Take the initiative to develop close working relationships with the center’s staff.

ACADEMIC CALENDAR

Dates featured on this calendar include add/drop deadlines, graduation application deadlines, priority registration dates, breaks & holidays, final exams, and other important dates.

ACADEMIC PROGRAMS

ADD/DROP

Add/Drop is the period at the beginning of a each term when students are eligible to sign up for new courses and drop courses for which they were previously registered without penalty. 

AUGUSTA UNIVERSITY CATALOG

The catalog is the official source for academic programs and courses. Students and advisors are encouraged to utilize the catalog in planning their path to graduation. The catalog contains a number of features, including advanced search options, intuitive navigation, and a My Portfolio option to store favorite programs and courses.

BUSINESS OFFICE

The Business Office provides accounts receivable, receipting, and cashiering services to students, insurance participants, and departments.  Additionally, they process all tuition and fee payments for students, as well as promptly deliver information regarding student bills, important dates, and refunds.

CARE TEAM

The mission of the AU CARE Team is to provide a caring program for student identification, intervention, and response while balancing the needs of the individual with those of the community.

D2L LOGIN

D2L is the primary online tool used to distribute course content and quizzes to students.  Faculty can provide online video and audio lectures, PowerPoint presentations, and PDF documents for students to review at their convenience.

DEAN'S LIST

AU believes it is important to recognize the superior academic performance of undergraduate students by awarding them Dean's List designation for a given semester.

ENROLLMENT STATUS DEFINITIONS

Enrollment Status Definitions provide an outline of the required credit hours to be certified as full-time (FT), half-time (HT), or less than half-time (LTHT) for undergraduate, graduate and professional students.

ENROLLMENT VERIFICATION

Students may obtain, at no charge, an Enrollment Certificate which is accessible online through their student system account POUNCE for a specific term or for the total enrollment history.

FORMS

HOLDS

Holds are placed on a student's records for various reasons.  There is typically some action required on the part of the student to have the hold removed (e.g. payment, paperwork, completion of requirement, exit interviews, etc.).

MILITARY & VETERAN AFFAIRS

MVS helps currently-serving military and their dependents, veterans, and those who would like to become officers in the U. S. Army, make a quality, affordable education available.

NATIONAL STUDENT CLEARINGHOUSE

AU has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to act as our agent for providing enrollment verifications.

POUNCE

AU's portal designed to give students , faculty, and staff personalized access to a variety of campus resources in a single location.  Students can register for classes, pay tuition, view financial aid information, and get information about their current status at AU.

REGISTRATION

Find information outlining the registration process, including, instructions, sites and times,  and the schedule of classes. 

SCHEDULE OF CLASSES

The schedule of classes provides a complete list of courses that will be offered each term.

STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES

Student Health Services provides quality health and preventive services to AU students.

STUDENT PROFILE

Allows students to have an overall view of their academic information, helping plan ahead for future semesters, check grades, degree audits, holds, and more.

TESTING SERVICES

A number of institutional and national tests are available through Testing & Disability Services.

TRANSCRIPTS

An AU transcript is a complete record of a student's enrollment at Augusta University, including all undergraduate, graduate and professional coursework.

TUITION RECLASSIFICATION

Currently enrolled students classified as out-of-state may petition for in-state classification by completing the petition form and submitting supporting documentation.

UPDATE PERSONAL INFORMATION

It is important for student names and addresses to be accurate and up-to-date while attending AU.  Learn more about updating your personal information.

WITHDRAW

After the schedule adjustment period has ended, the official withdrawal date is the date the student notifies the Registrar's Office of their intent to withdraw by submitting the completed withdrawal form.
