Four physics students present research at premier national physics conference
“A couple of years ago, I was stocking boxes in some store. And now, I have calculus under my belt, and I'm confident," said student Richard Baker.
Innovate. Investigate. Discover.
Our mission is to support undergraduates in the pursuit of discovering new information, investigating factors of influence, and innovating original work under the collaborative guidance of a faculty mentor.
Our vision is to make collaborative research and scholarly activity a characteristic feature of the undergraduate culture for all AU students, regardless of their identity or major. We strive to develop students’ love of discovery and readiness to contribute to a productive and ethical society through high-impact experiences that foster critical and innovative thinking.
Doing research has given me an academic experience beyond the classroom. I have been able to apply skills as opposed to simply memorizing them, and have learned more than I ever could in a classroom.

An upcoming competition will benefit the CSRA, an undergrad researcher has been selected to present to Congress, and men’s golf tees it up for their only home tournament.
“I think CURS is doing a wonderful job at exposing students to not only research opportunities, but what the research can do for them in return," said Amesha Adams.
