We invite you to learn more about how to successfully transition to Augusta University and complete your degree at AU!
Visit our Transfer Equivalency Guide to find your previous college courses and military experience, check out how you might benefit from academic partnership agreements AU has with other colleges and training entities, and read our transfer credit policy.

Step 1 – Application
Apply online and submit a non-refundable $60 application fee. We do accept NACAC transfer fee waivers – learn more here.
Already applied? You can log into your personalized application portal and check the status of your application here.
Step 2 – Submit Official Documentation
Submit your official college transcripts. Use your application status portal to see all transcripts required to complete your application. If you believe you did not attend an institution that appears in your materials checklist, contact admissions@augusta.edu for directions on how to obtain the appropriate substitute document.
Send your transcripts electronically directly to Academic Admissions from your college or university, or third-party service they use like Parchment, E-scrip, or National Student Clearinghouse. Choose Augusta University Undergraduate Admissions (or designate admissions@augusta.edu) as the direct recipient for your document.
Or, you can request a transcript through postal mail. Bring transcripts to our office in their original sealed envelope exactly as received from the originally issuing institution. Transcripts can also be mailed to:
Augusta University
Office of Academic Admissions

We cannot accept electronic copies of transcripts provided by the student or official transcripts that have already been opened.
Freshman Transfer applicants must also submit their official, final high school transcript and SAT or ACT scores.
Step 3 – Confirm Your Enrollment
If you are admitted, you will need to secure your seat by confirming your enrollment in your application status portal.
Transfer applicants admitted to allied health or nursing programs also must submit an enrollment deposit. Enrollment deposit amount varies by program.
After submitting the acceptance agreement on your portal and activating your AU credentials, you can access POUNCE and other AU Portals for students.
