Jags4Jags Mentoring Programs support student success through meaningful one-on-one mentoring connections at key points in the college experience.
Through Jags4Jags Peer Mentoring, first-year students are paired with a peer mentor who is invested in their success and ready to help them navigate the transition to college.
Through Jags4Jags: Momentum, second-year students are matched with a professional staff member or an alumni mentor who provides guidance and support in academics, career exploration, leadership development, and personal growth.
Together, these programs help students build confidence, expand their networks, develop valuable skills, and take advantage of opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. Explore both mentoring opportunities below and apply today!

Why Jags4Jags?

How It Works
- Students mentees will be matched with a mentor based on common interests, background, academics, and professional aspirations. To get started, students and mentors register and complete an online survey designed to better understand their personalities, experiences, and goals.
- Mentors and mentees are encouraged to connect 2–4 times per month, with communication frequency and format determined by each pair’s preferences. Pairs may connect in person or through text, Zoom, Slack, and/or phone.
- Jags4Jags Peer Mentoring also offers three community-building events each year where students can de-stress, connect with their mentors, and build relationships with other students in the program.
