Welcome Parents, Family Members, and Supporters!
We are thrilled to have your student at AU and to have you join our community. This is an exciting time for you, and we have resources to help ease the transition. You have many opportunities to learn about the University and to participate in campus events, particularly those that showcase Augusta University's teaching and research missions.
All parents and families are encouraged to attend our Parent and Family Orientation, whether your student is a First-Year student or Transfer student. We have created this page to help all parents and guests understand what resources and information will be available throughout your students time with Augusta University. We encourage you to take some time to explore this site and learn more about the campus and Augusta community.

The Office of New Student and Family Transitions is committed to supporting families throughout your student's university experience. We've created two specialized forms to ensure your questions and concerns reach the appropriate staff members quickly and efficiently.
Which Form Should I Use?
| Student-Specific Concerns Form | General Questions Form |
| Use this form when you need assistance with individual concerns about your student that may require personalized follow-up or access to educational records. | Use this form for questions about university policies, procedures, campus resources, and general information that doesn't require access to your student's specific records. |
Response Timeline
- General questions: 1-2 business days
- Student-specific concerns: 2-3 business days
- Urgent matters receive priority attention
Privacy & FERPA Compliance
All submissions are handled in accordance with federal privacy regulations. For student-specific concerns, detailed information will be communicated directly with your student, while you'll receive confirmation that follow-up has been initiated.
