Welcome to the MPA Program! We are delighted that you will be joining us this year! In order to make your entrance into the MPA Program as smooth as possible, please read the following information about registration.

Once you have submitted your intent to enroll letter, you will receive an email within a few days from the office of admissions (to the email account listed in your application) containing your username/email.
You must log in to your Augusta University email account before you can login to POUNCE, Augusta University’s online student information system.
The initial JagID password will be: last initial (capitalized) + SSN (no spaces or dashes) + an exclamation point ( ! )
For example, John Doe (SSN 123-45-6789) would be D123456789!
In order to register, our students must first set up an advisement appointment with our Director. In the advisement session, Director Meares will go over course availability by term to ensure you register for the best courses/course schedule to meet your preferred graduation deadline. After the advisement session you will be approved for all the courses you wish to register for.
At Augusta University, all of our graduate courses are restricted to graduate students only without special permission; so for each course you wish to take our office or Director Meares will have to input your approval for the course.

Available courses for the upcoming semester. You will then be able to select them term you would like to look at courses for and search by subject, we are PADM.
Your JagCard is your official university ID card. It must be carried with you at all times. We are located in the Jag1Stop on the first floor of the Annex I building. Please use the entrance on the side of the building facing 15th Street.
Approved forms of identification are: state driver’s license, military identification card, passport or state issued identification card. You must be registered and fees paid before receiving your JagCard.

In order to be permitted to park on campus, students must have your current vehicle registered with the Parking Office. Registration is easy.
Before you get started, please make sure you have your vehicle information on hand (year, make/model, body type, color, license plate/tag number and state), and then do the following:

TO COMPLETE AFTER REGISTRATION
All Augusta University students enrolled for six or more credit hours per semester are automatically charged the Campus Recreation Center fee ($70.00 fall/spring semester, $30.00 summer). Students enrolled for five hours or less or who are not enrolled for the summer semester must pay the Campus Recreation Center fee at the Augusta University Campus Business Office.
ALL Augusta University students are required to complete the Campus Recreation Center Student Membership Activation form. The form must include the student’s signature as well as that of a witness. The activation form must be completed and returned to the Campus Recreation Center prior to first visit.
The primary online tool used to distribute course content and quizzes to students. Faculty can provide online video and audio lectures, PowerPoint presentations, and PDF documents for students to review at their convenience.

Use of D2L varies by academic professor. Some of your professors will use it for everything, while some will only use basic functions.
Immunization: Submitting your immunization paperwork.
Lawful Presence: Proof of lawful presence must be submitted to the office of Academic Admissions. You may mail, hand deliver, or email the proof to admissions. Details on accepted lawful presence paperwork.
Technical Standards: You are required to complete and submit the technical standards form with The Graduate School.
