Augusta University is pleased to announce a new partnership with Textbook Brokers. This partnership will provide students with access to physical textbook purchases and rentals, access codes, and digital access. Students will have the option of having their course materials shipped directly to their home or campus address, or may choose to have the items shipped to the Roar Store in Washington Hall for pick up.

What changes are being made for textbooks and course materials at Augusta University?
Augusta University has entered into a contract with a company called Textbook Brokers. Textbook Brokers will begin supplying all of the textbooks and course materials for AU students for the Spring 2023 semester.
Why was this change made?
A project team consisting of AU administration, faculty, and students was formed and determined that engaging an external contractor that could supply textbooks and course materials for students would offer benefits, including access to new forms of digital content delivery.
How will students get their textbooks?
Students will access a newly designed website via roarstore.net. Students may choose to have their course materials shipped to their home or campus address, or may choose to have their items shipped to the Roar Store in Washington Hall for pick up. Textbook Brokers will accept AU financial aid for purchases and rentals, as well as major credit cards. The physical RoarStore in Washington Hall will not have textbooks available for sale any longer, all textbooks must be pre-ordered at roarstore.net.
Will the physical location of the Roar Store close?
No, the Roar Store located in Washington Hall on the Summerville Campus will continue to offer services for our campus community. All school supplies, lab coasts, specialty supplies for classes, graduation regalia, and great Augusta University and Jaguar spirit wear and gifts will still be available. But all textbooks must be pre-ordered at roarstore.net.
How will faculty submit their course material information?
Textbook Brokers offers and easy-to-use, web-based tool called FacultyPortal that allows faculty to communicate adoption information directly with Textbook Brokers. AU faculty will receive an email from Textbook Brokers in October with instructions for submitting adoptions. Textbook Brokers will also offer online training opportunities for submitting adoption information.
