Pi Alpha Alpha is the Global Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration Programs. Pi Alpha Alpha is run by NASPAA: The Global Standard in Public Service Education.
I pledge my support for the intellectual and professional advancement of the art and science of public administration. I shall honor and respect the virtues and values of public service and those who serve. I shall uphold the eternal need for education that imbues public administrators with traditions of democratic governance. Moreover, as a member of Pi Alpha Alpha, I shall uphold the highest ethical standards applying to public service and will endeavor to encourage and engage in meaningful interaction with other members.
To date there are more than 160 chapters. Pi Alpha Alpha was established to encourage and recognize outstanding scholarship in the field.
The Augusta University Chapter inducts new members in May each year, just before graduation. The induction ceremony is a festive affair, that features food, fun, and the chance to share your accomplishments with family and friends. We hope you will be inspired to join us!
Eligible students are invited to join in the early part of the spring semester.
