Information On ACCUPLACER®:

ACCUPLACER® is a suite of computerized tests that help determine your knowledge in math, reading and writing as you prepare to enter college-level courses. These tests help to identify your strengths and weaknesses in each subject area. Thanks to ACCUPLACER’s® online format, the test questions are based on your responses to each question you’ve already answered. Questions increase or decrease in difficulty depending on your answers as you work through the test. ACCUPLACER® tests are untimed, so you can move at a comfortable pace. WRITEPLACER® is the only exception to this as it has a time limit of one hour. It’s important to give yourself enough time to do your best and complete the test because your results are the key factor in determining the courses you can take. Your results will be available immediately after you take the test. For more information on ACCUPLACER®, please visit their website.

Preparing For The ACCUPLACER®:

ACCUPLACER® has several tools and resources to help you to be better prepared for the test. Use these tools to become familiar with the types and format of ACCUPLACER® test questions. They can help you identify the academic areas where you may need a little help, and prepare to improve. ACCUPLACER® also provides a free study app to help students refresh their content knowledge, become familiar with the test's format, and practice with sample questions. The study app is designed for students taking either classic or next-generation ACCUPLACER® and helps them get prepared for test day.
