FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Curriculog is an online interface that allows users to propose, create, assess, revise, approve, and implement courses and programs.

Any faculty or staff that needs to submit new/changing courses or programs can request access to Curriculog.

Access can be requested by submitting a completed Curriculog Access Request Form to curriculog@augusta.edu.

An impact report is used to determine what courses or programs will be impacted by the potential course revision or inactivation.

Generating an Impact Report

PLEASE NOTE:  An impact report is required even if there is no impact resulting from your change.

Create a new course prefix that will be added to the Augusta University Catalog.

NEW ACADEMIC PROGRAM

New Academic Process Flow

Create a new program that is currently listed on the Academic Forecast.

NEW COURSE

Create a new course that is not currently listed in the Augusta University Catalog. 

PROGRAM REVISION

Revise an existing academic program that is listed in the Augusta University Catalog.  All changes must be listed on one Side by Side Schema.

COURSE REVISION

Revise an existing course that is listed in the Augusta University Catalog.

PROGRAM DEACTIVATION

Deactivate an existing academic program that should no longer be offered and will be removed from the Augusta University Catalog.

COURSE INACTIVATION

Deactivate a course that should no longer be listed in the Augusta University Catalog.

NEW CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

Create a new certificate program that is not currently offered.

Several factors contribute to the length of time it takes a proposal to be completely processed:

  • Routing Structure
  • Timeliness of Approvers
  • Accuracy of the Proposal

Custom routes only allow individual users to be selected out of the current hierarchy and must be approved by a Curriculog administrator.

This feature will not allow you remove a role from the approval process, but rather switch the order.

Creating a Custom Route 

Notifications are automatically generated to the originator and approvers in the proposal process.  If you are receiving notifications, please check your “My Task” bar within the Curriculog system.

If you are receiving this error, please review the college and department selected for this proposal.  If both are correct, please contact curriculog@augusta.edu for troubleshooting assistance.
