You will receive an email from Augusta University (admissions@augusta.edu) once your DICAS application has been verified to go to your Applicant Portal for
information to complete the Augusta University supplemental application and subsequently
pay the supplemental application fee.
Early submission of all application materials is strongly advised.
Personal statement, transcripts, and references will be sent to Augusta University from your DICAS application. All required application materials and documents must be received in order for an application to be considered complete and before an admission decision can be made.
Applications and supporting materials received after the program deadline will only be considered on a space-available basis.
Federal Regulation 34 CFR 668.43 (a) (5) (v) and 34 CFR 66.43 (c) require disclosure by all educational institutions regarding educational requirements for programs leading to professional licensure or certification. Please carefully review the information provided in the program's licensure disclosure statement for the Master of Science with a major in Allied Health with a concentration in Nutrition.

GPA
Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale at the Baccalaureate level. If applicable, a minimum overall graduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Overall undergraduate and graduate GPAs are calculated using a standard formula which includes all work attempted.
The GPA of competitive applicants tends to be higher.
Degree Requirement
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. To be used to satisfy degree requirement, evaluation of foreign educational transcripts must show degree(s) earned that are the U.S. equivalency of degree(s) required by the program.
Applicant must have requirements to receive a verification statement from an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) prior to enrollment. Official Transcripts
Official transcripts are required from all universities and colleges ever attended. Only in the case of transcripts from international colleges/universities, will an official course-by-course transcript evaluation be accepted in lieu of an official transcript.
Official transcripts submitted through DICAS will be sent directly to Augusta University once the DICAS application is complete.
If you are offered acceptance into our program and had submitted official transcripts through DiCAS showing in progress coursework/degree enrollment or have since enrolled in new coursework, then final official transcripts must be submitted showing completion of coursework (including proof of degree, as applicable). In such cases, the final official transcripts must be submitted directly to Augusta University. Official electronic transcripts should be emailed from the issuing institution to Augusta University's Office of Graduate Admissions Operations at graduateadmissions@augusta.edu

Transcript/Credential Evaluation of Foreign Transcripts
An official, professional course-by-course evaluation based on official transcripts
and documents is required for all foreign educational transcripts and documents from
one of the following three credentials evaluation services: Educational Credential
Evaluators, Inc. (ECE), Josef Silny & Associates, Inc., or World Education Services
(WES). Course-by-course transcript evaluations may also be accepted from a current
National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, or NACES, member on a case-by-case
basis. Official transcript evaluations based on unofficial transcripts, documents
or copies will not fulfill this requirement.
Specific Ordering Instructions for ECE, Silny and WES
Letters of Recommendation (3)
Recommendations (which include a reference form and letter of recommendation) from three individuals are required. Referees should be individuals qualified to critically assess the applicant's prior academic (usually college professors), employment, artistic, research and/or clinical experience (clinical or research supervisor/manager) and qualifications (as applicable) as well as the applicant's potential as a graduate student in the field/program selected. Letters of recommendation submitted through DICAS will be sent directly to Augusta University once the DICAS application is complete.
Standardized Test Requirements
None are required for this program.
English Proficiency Exam (if applicable)
English proficiency exam scores are required for applicants whose first language is not English and who do not qualify for an English proficiency exam waiver per the criteria listed below. Augusta University will accept official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Test (IELTS) exam scores. Official exam scores must be taken within 2 years of the date of application. The Augusta University institution code for submission of TOEFL or IELTS scores is 5406. Please do not select a department code.

Please note, for applicants who are offered admission to this program, final admittance is conditional upon a satisfactory criminal background check (CBC) and drug screen which must be completed (as instructed) and received (at least three weeks prior to the first day of the semester in which you have been accepted) with results deemed acceptable to the applicable college/program’s professional standards.
