Future Faculty Learning Community
A year-long crash course in teaching preparation for new and future faculty.
The Future Faculty Learning Community, led by Dr. Rhia Moreno, is designed to prepare advanced graduate students and postdoctoral fellows for successful teaching careers by focusing on key areas such as scholarly-informed teaching, course and syllabus design, and innovative assessment strategies. Participants will explore active learning techniques while developing a personalized teaching philosophy. This supportive community fosters teaching preparedness and excellence, equipping future faculty with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in academic roles. Please note that participants must attend all sessions.

GradGuide
GradGuide gives graduate students the opportunity to connect with Augusta University leaders through mentorship and career exploration.
Participants select a mentor aligned with their interests and are supported through a three-part professional development series designed to strengthen mentoring relationships, professional communication, and career planning.
