Academic and Professional Support Resources

Center for Writing Excellence

CWE offers specialized services to support graduate students and faculty. These include asynchronous online appointments, ongoing appointments for long-term projects, workshops, and graduate writing groups.

The Graduate School Reference Center

Created in partnership with University Libraries, this online portal provides information to Graduate School faculty, researchers, and students. Resources include electronic theses and dissertation information, descriptions of library resources and services, citation tools, and a link to Scholarly Commons.

Testing & Disability Services

Testing & Disability Services provides a reliable, convenient, and accessible location for students, faculty, and staff to obtain a variety of services. Their mission is to ensure that all qualified students with disabilities receive equal access to educational opportunities.

Information Technology

IT provides the technology necessary for faculty, staff, and students to carry out academic collaboration, research and innovation. Services include no-cost and special discount software downloads. IT support is available via phone, online, or at an in-person help desk.

Career Services

Career Services assists students in connecting with career exploration, planning, and employment opportunities. Resources include job search preparation, career assessments and consulting, job fairs and events, Handshake job portal, and professional headshots.

Graduate Assistantships

A limited number of Graduate Assistantships are available each semester to qualified students. Available Graduate Assistant positions can be found on Handshake.
