Study Abroad Program: Costa Rica (2018)

Current Role: Communications Director

Kayla Hogan recent

Now

"I have really fond memories of a woman who lived near my host family. She was a pillar of the community, warmly welcoming everyone, sharing meals, caring for children, and generally looking after everyone. She invited us over one day and taught us how to prepare a traditional Costa Rican dish. That experience underscored the power of community, the importance of genuine connection, and the value of cultural exchange. These principles inform my work, as I strive to build relationships and foster a sense of community within the organization I serve."
