On Oct. 17, 2024, longtime and beloved College of Science and Mathematics faculty member Maria Eugenia Sabbatini, PhD, passed away after a months-long struggle with advanced kidney cancer.In honor of her love of teaching and her drive for research, a scholarship is being formed under Dr. Sabbatini's name to support undergraduates and graduate students in their research.
