The AV Technologist II will set up and operate a variety of instructional technologies, video conferencing, and AV equipment, collaborating with faculty, staff, and students with an emphasis on excellent customer service. They will provide clear, concise, and diplomatic communications to resolve issues, and will work as an integral part of the instructional support team to provide support for collaborative learning and presentations
The Cybersecurity Engineer position is responsible for supporting Augusta University. Including AU Health and all related affiliates in cybersecurity, safeguarding the organization's networks, systems, and sensitive data. Helps to design, implement, and support Enterprise Security tools and programs with a focus on networking Infrastructure. Provide technical guidance and hands-on engineering to ensure security tools are implemented to support security objectives.
The IT System Architect 2 leads architecture efforts on multiple projects. Works closely with business partners, program managers, project managers, business analysts, software developers, quality analysts, and support specialists during all phases of projects to analyze requirements in the context of related infrastructure applications and systems, model data and software processes, produce architectural approach documents and blueprints, and provide architectural guidance, oversight, and support to projects in general
The Cyber Institute's System Administrator (SA) is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure within the AU Cyber Institute. This individual participates in technical research and development to enhance the learning objectives and enable continuing innovation within the cyber institute. The AU Cyber Institute SA will work with the AU IT team.
The Audio Visual Installer, with direction from the Manager of AV Systems Engineering or delegates, performs AV equipment installation for new and refreshed audiovisual projects ranging from $1-$5 million annually. The AV Systems Installer/Technologist will catalog and manage the storage of equipment ordered, assemble racks with AV equipment wiring with the equipment following drawings provided by AV System Engineers.
The Database Architect (DBA) has duties of instructing, directing, and checking the work of other database systems and personnel. Works independently and mentors other DBA team members to design, develop and maintain the enterprise technical platform infrastructure. The principal function of the position is to provide a high-quality, secure, and resilient platform that supports the AU business and research needs.
