ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Army ROTC is one of the best leadership courses in the country and is part of your college curriculum. During classes and field training, you will learn first-hand what it takes to lead others, motivate groups and how to conduct missions as an Officer in the Army. Army ROTC classes integrate into a graduate student's degree map and enables them to progress towards their degree. Upon graduation from Army ROTC, you will earn the bar of a Second Lieutenant and become a leader for life.

APPLICANT PROFILE

We are seeking highly qualified incoming graduate students with a strong academic record. Graduate students must have at least two-years (four semesters) of academic curriculum remaining. Students who join ROTC for graduate school will complete military science prerequisites the summer before beginning their master's program. During a month-long program, ROTC graduate students complete the basic course level of training to prepare them for the final two-years of the program.

ROTC offers leadership training and a career path after graduation. Graduate students who use the ROTC two-year scholarship commit to four years of military service after graduation. During their training and service, ROTC graduate students build leadership and technical skills as an officer. These leadership skills are honed during their service and lead them directly into civilian jobs in business, government, or elsewhere.
