University Singers

University Singers is the primary choral ensemble in the Department of Music and for the university. This ensemble is comprised of traditional and non-traditional students who have a genuine love for choral singing.

Membership is available for music majors as well as non-majors. The group rehearses and performs choral literature from all eras in widely-ranging styles, languages, and cultural contexts. University Singers regularly appears in concert on and off campus and rehearses twice a week—Mondays and Wednesdays at 12 p.m. In addition to yearly concerts, the ensemble has recently presented the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah and The Notebook of Leonardo Da Vinci by Jocelyn Hagen.

Chamber Singers (Tonealities)

Directed by: Dr. Marcel Ramalho

Chamber Singers (TONEalities) is the premiere touring choral ensemble in the Department of Music. Membership is by approval of the Director of Choral Activities. This 15-member group rehearses and performs choral literature from all eras in widely ranging styles, languages, and cultural contexts. Chamber Singers regularly appears in concert on and off campus. TONEalities rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12 p.m.
