November 8-9: Chalk on the Walk

Participate in the Chalk on the Walk, an exciting opportunity to reveal your creativity! Showcase elements of your research, topics in your major, or other personal interests with creative artistry. ALL STUDENTS are invited to participate, whether you engaging in research and scholarship or not. Specific blocks of time will be set aside with music and refreshments, but artists may work on their block at any point between Nov 8-9. Prizes awarded for People's Choice, Most Creative Research Rendering, and more. Put on your creativity cap and RSVP to Chalk on the Walk!  Click here for Guidelines. Details will follow after RSVP. Winners will be announced at the Research Recognition portion of the UR Fair November 10 at 2:45.

CURS will provide chalking materials, and students will select a sidewalk square within the JSAC Patio to create your masterpiece.  Take a photo, share it on social media, and tag CURS!  Popcorn and cocoa will be served!

Not so artsy? Need some inspiration or ideas?  Reach out to an artist for assistance and collaboration from one of our campus artists.  Check out this short video for a glimpse at another Sidewalk Symposium.
