The CURS Ambassadors are volunteer undergraduates who commit to helping the CURS office enact our mission and vision within the larger AU community. To be invited as a CURS Ambassador, students must have at least one term of undergraduate research experience, be enrolled as a full-time student, and have demonstrated high standards of professionalism, public speaking, and personal integrity. We are excited to announce our 2024-2025 Ambassadors:
Grace Neiswender
I am grateful for the opportunity to be of service to the undergraduate research community again...I was able to see growth in myself, personally and professionally. I am excited for students to take advantage of the opportunity and resources to make their college experience what they want, maybe even more than they could have imagined. I hope to be the bridge to potentially finding a love for research and/or the confidence to do research.
Dat Dang
I love getting to work with like-minded people and with people who are passionate about what they do.
Alexis Edge
I was surprised by how different it is when learning from a class versus learning through hands-on experience. The most helpful things you will learn will most likely be through hands-on experience. I think that some concepts that you learn in the class are easier to understand once you participate in research.
