A.J. Kleinheksel, PhD Biography

Dr. KleinhekselDr. A.J. Kleinheksel is the Assistant Dean of MCG Educational Simulation, an Educational Researcher in the Educational Innovation Institute, and a Professor with an appointment in the Department of Medicine.

Dr. Kleinheksel brings a wealth of educational research experience to MCG, having earned both their doctorate in Educational Technology and their Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Florida. Before coming to Augusta University,

Dr. Kleinheksel was the Director of Instructional Design at Shadow Health in Gainesville, FL, where they managed the design and development of virtual patient simulations for health professions education.
