Facilities is responsible for allocating and utilizing space controlled by Augusta University.

The role of the Space Management, Real Estate and Facilities Committee is to develop and promote new procedures and policies regarding the effective management of Augusta University space assignment and utilization, real properties, and provide guidance related to Facilities' delivery of capital projects.

Relative to space management, the committee will oversee space allocation to University academic, administrative, research, and athletic units, review and make decisions regarding space requests that may involve significant alterations, major reassignments, or functional changes in space controlled by the University. These decisions shall align with the AU Strategic Plan.

How to Submit a Space Request

Submission of a space request is required for any change in the use, relocation, or reassignment of campus space.

  1. Download the space request form, fill it out, and obtain all signatures.
  2. Email the completed form to: space_management@augusta.edu.
  3. Please email Sharon Bradish, the Facilities Space Manager, at sbradish@augusta.edu to follow up with a request.

How to Request a Hotel Office

A hotel office is an office that can be reserved by faculty or staff for a short time, such as an hour or a day, at no charge.

  1. Submit a request to reserve a room using the Hotel Office Reservation Process.
  2. Once your reservation is approved, it will be submitted to JagAccess to activate your badge access to the room during the requested time.
  3. At the approved time, you may enter the office, dock your laptop, and have a private office at your disposal to complete your work or conduct your appointments.
  4. Please direct any questions or concerns to space_management@augusta.edu.
