Facilities carry out planning, design, and construction across Augusta University. We are responsible for long-term university planning and project delivery.
Augusta University Facilities handles all capitol project development on campus. We work with leadership to review requests and facilitate the project development process from initial discovery efforts through professional design services. We are the liaison between Augusta University, the Board of Regents Real Estate and Facilities Office, and the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC), handling all reporting for consultant procurement, capitol and facility planning, and space management activities. The College of Science and Mathematics at Augusta University broke ground in 2019. The ribbon cutting and grand opening were in September 2021.
