Applicants for the 2024-2025 admissions cycle must submit their AMCASAmerican Medical College Application Service applications between May 30, 2024 and August 1, 2024.
Required Qualifications
Georgia Resident
Only Georgia residents will be considered for MCG's Early Decision Program.
MCAT score of 509 or higher
Medical College Admissions Test
GPA of 3.7* or above
*Total GPA's between 3.65 and 3.69 will be rounded to 3.7
Application Requirements
All applicants official transcripts must be received in the AMCAS office by August 1st.
Transcripts must arrive to the AMCAS office directly from the college’s/university’s
Registrar’s Office.
All application supplemental documents, which are items required in addition to the
AMCAS application, should be returned one week after receipt of the secondary application
and must be in the application file byAugust 15, 2024.
Supplemental documents include: all residency documentation, required course listings,
and other specifically requested documents.
EDP applicants must have taken the MCAT by June 27, 2024.
Applicants must have taken the CASPer exam by July 9, 2024. Please note that CASPer test results are valid for one admissions cycle. Applicants
who have already taken the test in previous years will therefore be expected to re-take
it.
Application Procedures
Early Decision Program applicants are typically notified of their acceptance by the
second week in September, but are guaranteed to be notified of their acceptance no
later thanOctober 1, 2024.
