Please note that undergraduate students must be enrolled for a minimum of six credit hours and graduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of five credit hours to receive federal loans.
The USG Board of Regents and the University Immunization Policy requires that all students attending classes at any of Georgia’s public institutions, including Augusta University, must meet established immunization requirements. Standard processing time for all submitted documentation is up to three business days.
Immunization documents are specific to your academic college and can be downloaded by visiting Student Health Services.
Students should submit documents to the Immunization Compliance office using the Student Health portal; however, a registration hold will not be placed until after the start of summer semester classes.
Upon receipt of the documents, students will be notified by email and text about any vaccine or test deficiencies and will have until the fall semester to address them. For more information, email immunizations@augusta.edu.
Students who attend in summer semester but were not registered in the spring will have the health insurance charge included on their student account.
This includes new students and continuing students who did not register/attend spring semester. You may accept the insurance by paying the charge along with your summer tuition and fees, or if you have a qualifying insurance plan, you may complete the waiver application. Waivers should be applied for a minimum of ten days in advance of the start of classes to ensure the charge is waived by the payment deadline.
