Faculty Affairs in no way replaces departmental specific efforts geared to the same purpose—FA simply enhances what departments are already doing and provides some degree of uniformity and serves as a back stop for faculty needs.
There are several components to Faculty Affairs, and each component has a designated champion:
The Hub is a “one stop shop” to find faculty-related resources at MCG and AU.
We serve faculty and the academic/clinical departments in which they reside.

We seek to create a diverse, inclusive environment that supports faculty, students, residents and staff.
We are tasked with supporting a coordinated, systematic, and sustained effort to prevent and ameliorate burnout, and to promote the positive psychological well-being of faculty, residents and students throughout the Medical College of Georgia.
