The MCG Office for Faculty Success and the MCG Group on Women in Medicine and Science proudly present the 2nd Biennial MCG Women’s Career Development Symposium. This is a 1-day symposium designed to engage women and other gender minority faculty in academic medicine in networking, skill-based and knowledge-based training, and addressing and overcoming various barriers through plenaries, workshops, and networking activities.
Connect with us!
The need for this symposium stems from a long history of barriers for women in academic medicine and the hope is that women faculty at Augusta University will attend this event to gain a sense of community among their female peers and develop skills to promote and sustain their success. Please join us for this event to learn about ways to achieve career success, network with fellow women faculty, and celebrate a culture of women in medicine and science.

Additionally, a livestream of the plenary, "Pay Equity is About More than Pay: Institutional and Individual Strategies for Equity” and the Women Leadership Panel Q&A session will be made available to all faculty who do not attend the symposium.
