Augusta University celebrates fall 2024 graduates
"Regardless of how many times you hear 'Congratulations!' or 'We regret to inform you,' wherever you are is where you're meant to be," says Eboni Watts.
The Augusta University Honors Program provides all motivated and high-potential learners the opportunity to enhance their undergraduate education.
Our honors curriculum encompasses three central educational goals—knowledge, communication, and professionalism—supported through creative core courses, unique interdisciplinary seminars, and mentored projects. The process of undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity culminates in an honors thesis. Throughout the program honors students receive advising, instruction, and mentoring from honors staff and faculty and the support to present their findings at appropriate state, regional, and national conferences.

"I am a senior psychology major with a pre-med concentration. I am currently fascinated with being a hematology/oncology physician. I like watching anime, drawing, and taking care of my plants. I want to be a mentor to share the knowledge and advice I love building connections with first years."
Daihanna Aragon-Mercado
"I am a senior this year, trying to navigate through college. So, I know how hard it is to begin college! I am majoring in Cellular and Molecular Biology, pre-med, and minoring in Anthropology. I LOVE reading in my spare time (lots of different genres). My favorite book series is the Throne of Glass. Not only this, but I love watching k-dramas, too. I also like hanging out with my friends when I have time. My favorite color is pink (pastel, of course). Please don't hesitate to reach out when you're feeling overwhelmed and need help. I am happy to help!"

"I am currently at a Seniorish level in the Nursing program here at AU! This is my fourth year as part of the Honors Program and I absolutely adore the members of this team! Some of my hobbies include modeling, gaming, cooking and volunteering whenever I can. I am excited to help guide you guys towards success and get to know more about each one of you!"

"I am a senior at Augusta University majoring in chemistry. I like reading, going on long walks, watching shows and movies, if I am not doing any of the above or studying for a class I'm probably napping. I also have been learning how to cook recently so if you have any good recipes, feel free to recommend them."

“Being from Augusta and because my mom and grandmother went to AU, it was a no-brainer for me to go there,” says Elise Frails.
“It was really cool to see the space I had just created artwork for,” says Gabby Harris.
“Learning to communicate and advocate for your research effectively is such an important tool as a researcher and can lead to valuable change,” says Quentin Davis, PhD.
