I am an Accounting Lecturer. I have 28 years of teaching experience and 38 years of professional experience in accounting.
As a lecturer in accounting with an AACSB designation of Instructional Practitioner (IP), my teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that accounting education should be meaningful, practical, and accessible. I strive to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment where students can connect academic concepts to real-world applications. By integrating current industry practices, real business data, and experiential learning opportunities, I help students develop both a solid understanding of accounting principles and the confidence to apply them in professional and personal contexts. Although my primary interest is in teaching accounting courses, I also enjoy and have taught finance, statistics, business information systems, data analytics, economics and business communication courses. I enjoy introducing students to the advantages of technology and software applications across different curricula, while sharing my professional experience to illustrate real-world applications of key topics and concepts
