I am a Licensed Psychologist and Assistant Professor at Augusta University specializing in child and adolescent development. My expertise includes neurodevelopmental disorders, trauma-informed care, and providing evidence-based diagnostic evaluations and interventions for youth.
My teaching interests surround child and adolescent development, particularly the influence on early childhood development and parenting relationships on adult mental health outcomes and psychotherapy treatment.
Current Projects: In school-based settings, I am deeply invested in researching neurodevelopmental disorders (i.e., autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia) and learning processes, aiming to enhance educational outcomes through evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies. I believe that understanding how neurodevelopmental differences impact learning can lead to more inclusive and effective educational practices.
