Teaching Interests

REPRODUCTION - course director and lecturer Sophomore years. A clinically oriented survey of the development and functioning of the reproductive system with emphasis on the role of the reproductive hormones.

Research Interests

Research is devoted to understanding penile erection. A rat model has been developed to investigate the basic physiology of the erectile response. Studies emphasize the role of RhoA/Rho-kinase mediated vaso-constriction and how this vasoconstriction is overcome to permit erection to occur.
