Teaching Interests
I am focused on teaching in Criminal Justice. I focus on criminological theory, cyber crime. wrongful convictions, hate crimes, comparative criminal justice, and introduction to criminal justice. In addition, I teach the required Methods in Social Science course to majors within the social sciences.

Research Interests
My research interests focus on the use of true crime podcasts to tell the stories of missing and murdered Indigenous people. I have presented this research at international criminology conferences. Additional research interests are food insecurity among college students, campus crime, and student use and perceptions of Brightspace/D2L.
