Teaching Interests
I can teach across the Social Work curriculum, but most recently: Introduction to Social Work; Social Work Practice I; Social Work Group Practice; Social Work Field Education (Field Placement I & II and Seminar I & II); and an upper level, cross-listed elective (Summer, typically) Sociology of Death and Dying, Grieving and Caring.
Research Interests
Research interests include psychological trauma: assessment, treatment; grief and complicated grief and recovery; secondary traumatic stress; individual and group counseling; pastoral counseling; professional self-care; and professional ethics.
