Bio

I am a physician with 20 years of experience as a biobanker. I got my basic medical degree (MBBS) from India in 1984. I served in the Indian Defense Services as a Medical Officer till 19994. I specialized as a Pathologist with focus on Anatomical Pathology from India in 1998. I left the clinical side and branched out into biobanking in 2006. Have been working in biobanking sector for last 19+ years. Was deputy head of a biobank in Singapore from 2007 to 2014. Came to USA in 2014 to head a biobank at an Academic Institution in Houston, Texas. Shifted to Augusta University to head the Georgia Cancer Center Biorepository in September 2026.
