Bio

Rhia Moreno has a Ph.D. in Language and Literacy Education (University of Georgia) and Ed.M. in Language and Culture (Harvard University) and teaches in the Ed.S. and Ed.D. programs.

Teaching Interests

Dr. Moreno regularly teaches graduate level courses in Educational Research including research design, qualitative methodologies, and qualitative data analysis; Educational Technology; and World Language and Culture Instruction. She also leads a teaching excellence development course for doctoral and post-doctoral students through The Graduate School.

Dr. Moreno's research interests are grounded in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning and include arts-based pedagogies, experiential learning, study abroad, faculty and student development, and instructional design.
