Dr. Abdelsayed is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, and a diplomate of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology since 1991. He is a Professor of Pathology, Director of the Biopsy Services and Diagnostic Laboratory. He is Chief of the Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Section in the department of Oral Health and Diagnostic Sciences, College of Dental Medicine-GRU. Dr. Abdelsayed holds a joint appointment as an Associate Professor in the department of Anatomical and Surgical Pathology, School of Medicine, GRU. He serves as a consultant to clinicians who refer their patients for clinical evaluation, biopsy procedures and microscopic diagnosis.
