I came to AU with 28 years of diverse experience at the Georgia DFCS, as well as other social work field experience, to train the social workers of tomorrow.

Teaching Interests

I have been teaching here since 2010 and enjoy the bright ideas and enthusiasm the students bring to the classroom, as well as their internship experiences. I have visited South Africa, Belize (twice), Costa Rica, and London through our expansive study abroad program, which you should definitely look into.
Child welfare is my first love, with field internships following close behind. However, I haven't found a social work course yet that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed.
