Bio

Nick Schoenmann received his undergraduate degree in religion before attending the Medical College of Georgia at the Athens campus for his M.D. He went on to complete an emergency medicine residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and chose to stay for a fellowship in research. Previously, Nick served as a scout in the US Army, achieving the rank of staff sergeant with combat deployments to Iraq. His interests include bedside teaching, clinical ultrasound, and tropical medicine. Nick currently lives in Martinez, GA with his wife, Kelly, and their four children, Lorena, Nathan, Gabriela, and Rafael.
