Dr. Radford is a native of Augusta, Georgia. She attended Vanderbilt University and then returned home to Medical College of Georgia. She is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine, Addiction Medicine, and Psychiatry and has cared for patients at Johns Hopkins, Vanderbilt, Emory, Atlanta Medical Center, UT Southwestern, and VA North Texas.
Dr. Radford has a devoted interest in the education and mentoring of medical students, residents and fellows. She strives to provide patient-centered medical care while simultaneously helping physician trainees recognize and cultivate their strengths through the modeling of compassionate medicine, lifelong learning and reflection.
Dr. Radford has a special interest in the medical care of veterans, the underserved, and those suffering from substance use disorders. She has focused her research on Women's Health issues as well as the treatment of substance use disorders and pain. She has served on committees dedicated to patient safety and opioid risk mitigation. She has also served on as the Co-Site Lead for the National Practice-Based Research Network for the North Texas VA.
