Teaching Interests
Her teaching philosophy is simple: be the type of teacher you would want to have in the program. Ms. Mathis does this by having an open learning environment where students feel relaxed and able to ask questions. She guides her students to be independent thinkers, to pay attention to details, and to be confident in their knowledge and skills. She models these characteristics every day in her didactic and clinical courses.
