Teaching Interests
With experience in quality initiatives and scholarly projects involving early mobility and sedation protocols, my goal is to develop into a leader in safe and smart sedation practices in a tertiary care environment with a focus on improved long-term patient outcomes. I also plan on continuing to expand my experience as an instructor in PALS, PFCCS, procedural simulation, and medical education.

Research Interests
My fellowship scholarly project focuses on national sedation practices for neuroblastoma patients receiving m-IBG, as well as a local case series and implementation of an m-IBG sedation protocol. I plan to use this experience along with my time working on the early mobility committee to be involved with institutional improvement processes to ensure effective utilization of hospital resources while keeping patient safety and outcomes as a top priority.
