A proud native West Virginian, Dr. Fisher has been in the practice of Pediatric Critical Care since 1994, and Chief of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care since 2013. He is committed to providing empathetic, effective and efficient care for children and their families.

Teaching Interests
Dr Fisher enjoys teaching at the bedside on all topics related to Pediatric Organ failure and modern supportive therapies.
He also feels it is important to teach about patient/family dynamics and relaying difficult information in a clear and sensitive manner.
Dr Fisher has also been active in teaching Foundations of Leadership at multiple educational levels.

Dr Fisher is clinical interested in all forms of Pediatric Organ failure, with a special interest in Pediatric Respiratory Failure and modern forms of supportive care.
He also has a broad interest in Quality Improvement and in enhancing safe and effective care.
