Bio
Dr. Wiley earned her Masters and PhD in Environmental Toxicology from Clemson University. She has been teaching general biology, ecotoxicology, and animal physiology at AU since 2008. Her research interests are in the field of ecotoxicology, where she is currently studying water quality and the impacts of environmental pollutants on freshwater invertebrates.

Teaching Interests
Dr. Wiley teaches the majors-level Principles of Biology sequence (BIOL 1107 & 1108), as well as Ecotoxicology and Comparative Vertebrate Physiology. She has also taught several Study Abroad courses, including Environmental Science courses in Ecuador and an Ecology & Conservation course in Kenya.

Research Interests
Dr. Wiley currently studies the impact of environmental toxicants on freshwater invertebrates. Her work with undergraduate students includes water quality monitoring and the development of biomonitoring assays using a blackworm model (Lumbriculus).
