Farnaz Namazi, DDS earned her DDS degree from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences,School of Dentistry. Following her passion for serving the community, she practiced generaldentistry in underserved areas. Her journey continued in Boston where she joined Azzi Lab at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School as a researcher before moving to Dallas to complete her residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at Texas A&M University, College of Dentistry where she pursued her passion for diagnostics in dental care. She is a member of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
My teaching interests center on oral and maxillofacial radiology with a focus on fostering student's critical thinking skills in diagnostic tasks and radiographic interpretation to enhance students' diagnostic accuracy and confidence.
My research interest lies in the application of cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) for the diagnosis of maxillofacial pathologies.
