Appointment Date: 2017

Dr. Seeyave was appointed Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine in February 2017. She currently serves as the Assistant Medical Director for the CHOD Emergency Department. She is originally from Trinidad & Tobago. Her medical school was the University of the West Indies in Trinidad. She completed Pediatrics residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn NY, and Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. She worked at Hurley Hospital in Flint MI and Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC before joining the faculty at MCG. Her research interests include obesity in children, medical education and simulation. She is involved in the simulation program for the EM residents and PEM fellows, and oversees the pediatric residents rotating in the CHOG ED.
