Registered Nurse (1984) and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (1993) from the University of Michigan with current certification and licensure in the state of Georgia. Active practice for over 41 years in nursing and clinical education. Doctor of Nursing Practice (2015) degree and currently working in the academic setting educating future nurses. Passionate about fostering student success across all levels of education. Special interest in Study Abroad and global health experiences for students. Have traveled to Peru, Ecuador, and Scotland with undergraduate and graduate nursing students. Planning to travel to Mexico with BSN students for 2026.
