Research Interests

I strive to slow the viewer down and help them notice the beauty in the little things through my paintings. The focus may be the vibrant colors of a flower or the movement of a rusty spiral staircase. Sometimes I even splice images together to bring attention to how quickly our experience and interpretation of our surroundings can change. If we take a few minutes to notice, we often discover that there is beauty all around us.
