My teaching interests include vocal performance and production; the direction of Music Theatre and Opera performances; English, Italian, German, French Diction; Vocal Methods for use in music edcuation; and opera history and literature.

My research centers arounf opera and vocal works of late 19th and early 20th century, especially the work of Eleanor Everest Freer and E. Adaiewsky; Opera for young people; Vocal Health and the Aging Voice; and vocal pedagogy.
